Dust particles in Colombo back to normal despite air pollution hazard in India – NBRO
The National Building Research Organization states that the size of particles of dust in the atmosphere in many areas including Colombo have gradually decreased up to a normal level of 50.
Senior scientist at the NBRO, Sarath Premasiri says that the size of the dust particles stood at 148 as of the 6th of November. He further said that many countries in Asia are currently undergoing such a situation. He explains that the reason behind this is the winds carried through the polluted air in New Delhi, India. Premasiri further adds that the probability of these dust particles increasing in size still prevails.
