Gammadda Village Forums begins journey across the island

The Islandwide GAMMADDA Village Forums campaign commenced today following religious observances at the Head office of the Capital Maharaja organisation in Colombo 2.

The Village Forums through its journey across 25 districts will highlight the basic needs in rural Sri Lankan villages, focusing on the areas identified by the IVth DOOR-TO-DOOR campaign conducted with The University of Peradeniya. The Gammadda Village forums convoy which departed from Colombo 2 will make it first stop in Kalutara today before moving on to Neluwa by this evening.
